Grand Lobby

Our renovated historical Inn boasts a Grand Lobby with antiques and music boxes, a central Grand Staircase, and stained glass windows, perfect for buffets or cocktail hours.

Dining Room, Veranda Terrace, and Poolside

Our most popular site combines the Tanner Dining Room, Veranda Terrace, and Poolside. This Mediterranean-inspired venue hosts up to 215 guests with stunning views of Lake Lure and mountains.

Roosevelt Hall

Once used for filming “Dirty Dancing,” Roosevelt Hall is ideal for up to 75 guests. It features eight chandeliers, 11 ft ceilings, and a grand fireplace, creating an intimate yet spacious atmosphere.

Powers Room

Located off the main lobby, the Powers Room is perfect for intimate gatherings, accommodating up to 20 guests for private dining. Separated by elegant French doors.

Lakeside Gazebo

This six-sided open-air Gazebo features electrical outlets, accent lighting, wooden beams, and rock inlays. The rental includes the surrounding meadows, providing ample space to enjoy the majestic scenery.

Historic Trolley and Carriage

Our 32-passenger historic Trolley transports guests from off-site ceremonies to receptions. Newlyweds often return to the Inn by Horse and Carriage, available in several styles.
